With its articulated body and head, the Biscay Shad swims with a significantly improved, realistic action compared to most other lures. The super flexible body is connected to the head by a free-swinging screw and a VMC® hook, perfectly hidden in the soft body's weedless canal system. When attacked, the body collapses and the large hook opening is exposed for a clean strike. This balanced head and body combination allows you to cast farther in windy conditions near shore and fish faster in rough water or when an aggressive presentation is required. The Biscay Shad's deep shad design rolls and flashes from side to side at any speed, and the anti-tang design allows you to safely fish this lure in rocky or weedy areas where predatory fish like to hunt. Each Biscay Shad is visually extremely detailed and each body is perfectly tailored to its own mounting head. Bodies and mounting heads are also available separately.
