The Vanford is Shimano’s most sensitive spinning reel. The sensitivity of the Vanford is a result of the MGL Rotor, which along with the body is engineered from Shimano’s exclusive Ci4+ composite material. The addition of a Long Stroke Spool increases casting performance, especially when using the smaller sizes with ultra-light lures.
