The Curado lure rod range cosmetically matches the Curado Baitcasting reels and has been selected from the Shimano American Black Bass line up, where it has proven to be an outstanding performer fishing light and medium sized lures.
The Curado is a modern lure rod range, specially selected from the Shimano American Bass range. Brilliant for light and medium sized lures, you will find it difficult to better this mid-priced rod for pin-point casting accuracy and deceptively powerful fish-playing, especially when paired up with the cosmetically matching Curado Baitcasting reel.
Available in both one and two section designs, in both Spinning and Baitcasting options to suit your preference, the Curado really punches above its weight for performance and value, with the one-piece models having some of the finest fish-playing actions available.
The secret to the Curado's brilliant casting performance is the Full Carbon Hi-Power X carbon blanks. This exclusive Shimano carbon technology, previously only used on our highest specification rods, minimises blank twist when casting. You will also notice how it increases the responsive nature of the action when playing fish in tight situations, where supreme control is required.
Fitted with a super-light Shimano Ci4+ carbon reel seat, selected to suit either Spinning or Baitcasting reels, the Curado also features Fuji Fazlite guides and a split EVA handle. The combination of these components, and the classy graphics, combine perfectly into a rod that you will be proud to own and use.
Although you can certainly use this stunning rod for pike, especially in the larger sizes, its true value is when fishing for zander and perch, which are not unlike Black bass in nature. Casting a lure tight to a bridge support, under an overhanging tree or millimetres from a reed bed will become second nature with Curado. And when hooking fish, you can use the full action of the rod to gain control and boss the situation.
