The Fox Pellet Pegs have been developed for practical and effective bait presentation of trout or halibut pellets. The shape of the pellet peg was chosen to ensure a secure hold even for a pellet that has already been softened in water. The hair no longer pulls through the bait when casting or while fishing. It also prevents smaller fish from attacking the pellet and stops the stopper from slipping out of the hair loop. After drilling through the pellet with the 1.5 mm Nut Drill, the Pellet Peg fits exactly into the resulting hole. This closes the pellet and prevents water from penetrating the inside of the pellet, meaning the hook bait stays hard and stays on the hook for longer. The color of the pellet pegs is perfectly matched to trellis and halibut pellets and their shape allows them to be used either on the outside of the end or across the pellet.
