Thanks to the new lightweight Airdrive Rotor, the starting resistance when reeling in is reduced. The total weight of the reel is decreased, and due to the weight reduction at the front unit, the balance is shifted towards the back part of the reel. This leads to a better balance at the rod, improved sensitivity and better casting performance.

Airdrive Design and Enhanced Balance

The reel body made of Zaion V material ensures a distortion-proof housing of the Tough Digigear and permanent smooth running. The new Airdrive bail is more lightweight than before, ultimately tough and significantly decreases the threat of tanglings in combination with the new bail arm.

Optimized Drag and Casting Performance

The ATD Type-L drag cares for an even and optimized line release under strain without high starting resistance, providing the required safety when fighting large specimen. The aluminum Longcast ABS spool features a special spool rim that contributes to longer casting distances.

Improved Line Management

The Twistbuster III design at the line roller is perfect for the use of braided lines: the braid doesn't get compressed during retrieving, resulting in less twist. The CNC cut aluminum handle is firmly screwed into the body for instant contact.
